How to delete your account in the app

• Open the app and go to the Profile tab → "Edit" on the account card → "Edit my account".
• Tap "Delete account" at the bottom of the page.
• Confirm in the "Delete account" dialog by tapping "Delete". (If you signed in with Google, Apple or Facebook, the dialog explains that this deletes your data at PlanTravel — trip plans, preferences, search history — while you keep your account with that sign-in provider.)
• Your account and data are deleted immediately and cannot be recovered.

How to delete your account on the website

Log in and open "My account" (top right), scroll down to "Delete account" at the bottom, and confirm. Your account and data are deleted immediately — the exact same self-service flow as in the app, no email needed.

Using PlanTravel without an account (as a guest)?

Then there's no account to delete — your trip plans are stored only locally, in this browser or on this device. Clearing your browser's site data for plantravelapp.com, or uninstalling the app, removes them.

What is deleted, and what is kept

• Deleted immediately and permanently: your profile (name, email), all your trip plans, shared trip plans you were invited to, push-notification tokens and notification history, saved hotel/flight search reminders, email-forward booking suggestions linked to your account, and any attachments/documents you uploaded (for example tickets or confirmations).
• Nothing is retained for billing or accounting purposes — PlanTravel has no paid account tier, so there is no such data to keep.
• Anonymous, non-account-linked statistics rows (for example overall destination search counts, or an anonymous daily-visit count) are kept, but these can never be linked back to you or your deleted account.
• Deletion happens immediately — there is no waiting period and it cannot be undone.
• Database backups are automatically deleted within 7 days.
